Reactive Dog Seminars

So…your dog lunges, salivates, growls, and barks at strangers, bikes or other dogs? Not sure how to handle this?

Or perhaps you’re a trainer and have come upon such a dog in your classes. What to do?

How do I run a class for reactive dogs?

If you have questions (or dogs) like this, then this seminar is for you! Based on my book, “Scaredy Dog! Understanding and Rehabilitating your Reactive Dog,” this full-day (8-hour) seminar addresses the concept of Reactivity and teaches trainers and dog-training clubs how to run classes for reactive dogs. The seminar is also wonderfully informative and supportive for owners of reactive dogs.

Seminars typically take place on Saturdays, with Sundays available for private consultations for people who attended the seminar and the option for qualified trainers to observe these consultations.

The next Scaredy Dog! seminar is scheduled for May 13, 2023 at Great Companions, Whitehall, PA

Video from our Phoenix seminar, sponsored by
Good Dog Agility. It took place at an elementary school in Chandler Arizona, so seminars can be held in just about any large enough space. The afternoon sessions were held in the school's all-purpose room. The class session (shown here) took place in the media room so we could show video of some of our classes held in Allentown.
